Our inaugural vintage of single-vineyard chardonnay from Grand Sky Vineyard entices the senses with intense aromas of tropical fruit, lemon zest, and fresh pear. The palate is rich and engaging, filled with bright flavors of wildflower honey, green apple, and nutmeg. Firm acidity provides a bright finish of citrus and graceful minerality.

Grand Sky Vineyard sits along the northern tip of Carneros as you enter Congress Valley. The incredible vista is the inspiration for the vineyard’s name—Grand Sky. The rolling and dramatic hills are composed of well-drained soils from the Great Valley soil sequence, ranging between 66 million years to 145 million years old. The vineyard’s location and cool climate allow for slow, even ripening, producing a wine that is both fruity and well-balanced with structured acidity. The resulting wine is a testament to the intricate interplay between nature and craftsmanship.
