Our 2019 Martin Stelling Cabernet is brimming with a fresh intensity, enticing the senses with aromas of blue and red fruit. Plush and juicy with notes of crushed blueberries, blackberry and plums, violets, chocolate and cigar box on the palate, this wine is layered and dense, while not being overpowering. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a crushed-stone minerality are all followed by a long finish.

The Martin Stelling Vineyard is located at the base of the western hills in Oakville and is the primary vineyard for Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon. Nickel & Nickel is fortunate to farm two acres of this vineyard. The soils are composed of deep volcanic loam with underlying clay and gravel.
